Youth Sunday School

Youth who are in 6th-12th grade are invited to gather in the youth room in Memorial Hall from 9am-10am for Youth Sunday School.  The Youth  Sunday School class uses a curriculum called The Story, which invites them to dig deeper into biblical stories and see how these stories connect with the stories of their lives.  In the winter of 2017, the curriculum began with the story of Jesus birth and walked thru the New Testament, and the class looked together at stories where Jesus healed and taught, focusing on the crucifixion and resurrection around Easter time.  In  the Fall of 2017, they will be circling back to the Old Testament and seeing how these ancient stories tie into their modern lives.  It isn’t dry Bible story in youth Sunday school-the class digs into the scriptural stories with by watching videos, acting out the stories, doing art projects, and discussing thought provoking questions.

The Youth  Sunday School class runs from September to May and will restart for the 2017/2018 year on September 10th, 2017.
