“Joyful Noise” Coffee House

logo picture for advertisingDo you like coffee, snacks, or music? If the answer to any or all of the above is yes, then we’ve got a treat for you with the “Joyful Noise” coffee house, featuring “music with a mission.”

The “Joyful Noise” coffee house is a musical ministry that is sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church (Newark). It is held in Memorial Hall on the 2nd Saturday of every month, except July, August, and December. Doors open at 6:30 pm to begin the fellowship, with an array of free snacks and beverages. Live music starts at 7 pm and goes to around 8:30 pm, featuring a different artist or band each month. While the musical genre will vary from month to month, all performers come to share the message of love, hope, and healing through Jesus Christ.

The “Joyful Noise” is open to all people and all ages—church members, family, friends, students, and community at large. There is no charge to attend or for food. A love offering will be taken and all proceeds go directly and solely to the performers. Donations of snacks are gratefully welcome, as is help to set up and clean up.
